I first heard of Temple Grandin a few years after my son Justin received his autism diagnosis.  He’s had it for nearly 10 years now, so I have known about her & admired her from the very beginning.  Today, I want to share with you the video from TED that shows you why I have such an affinity for her.  I’ve believed autism is here for a reason for a long time.  I’ve also loved & admired the way my son’s mind works.  But I love hearing an adult on the spectrum say it as well.  She says it so much better than I can.
